Services & rates
Private-pay services and rates
These rates are for clients paying privately. All private-pay services are prepaid weekly. If you have Ohio Medicaid, a Medicaid waiver, or a health plan, see Medicaid & Insurance.
Private Duty Nursing (RN/LPN)
$65per hour
Skilled nursing, assessments, medication management, chronic disease monitoring
Wound Care
$65per hour
Dressing changes, ostomy care, infection monitoring
IV Therapy & Infusion Support
$70per 500 mL
IV therapy, infusion monitoring, line care, patient and family education
Home Care (CNA/HHA)
$29per hour
Help with bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, and other daily activities

Nursing and wound care visits are scheduled for up to one hour. Physician orders are required for skilled nursing services.

Who bills for your care
How you're billed depends on how your care is paid for.
If you pay privately
You prepay NurseVital Connect
NurseVital Connect LLC provides your care at the rates on our Services & Rates list. You prepay each week for your scheduled visits online through Prepay for Care, and we send a weekly statement of visits and your remaining balance. Unused prepayment is refunded on request.
If you have Ohio Medicaid, a waiver, or a Medicaid health plan
Your nurse bills your plan
Your care is provided by an independent nurse who is enrolled with Ohio Medicaid and bills your plan directly under the nurse's own provider number. NurseVital Connect does not bill Ohio Medicaid, waiver programs, or health plans, and does not send you a bill for covered care.
- Your plan must approve your nursing hours before care starts. Your care manager or case manager helps arrange this.
- You will not be asked to pay privately for services your plan covers.
- Please do not use Prepay for Care for care your plan covers.
- If your plan does not cover a service you want, we will explain that in writing and get your written agreement before any private-pay service begins.
Have a question about a bill? Email info@vitalnursenetwork.com or call 614-593-0922. If you have a Medicaid health plan, you can also call the member services number on your ID card. Choosing a nurse: you always have the right to choose your provider. If you have a care manager or waiver case manager, they can help you compare options.
Prepay for care
Prepay for your visits online
All private-pay care is paid in advance. Each week we email you the visits scheduled for the coming week and the amount due. Pay through our secure payment page at least 2 business days before the first visit, and your visits are confirmed.
For private-pay clients of NurseVital Connect LLC only. If your care is covered by Ohio Medicaid, a waiver, or a health plan, you do not owe NurseVital Connect for that care. Please do not pay here.

Join NurseVital Connect as a nurse
Independent RNs and LPNs in Columbus and surrounding areas can use the NurseVital Connect platform to schedule clients, complete visit sheets and admission forms on a tablet or phone, and capture signatures. Each nurse sees only their own clients, including their own private-pay clients, and can send those clients invoices that are paid directly to the nurse. You bill Medicaid and your health plans yourself, in your own Availity account, under your own NPI and Medicaid provider number.
Flat $99 per month. A Business Associate Agreement is included. Sign up takes a few minutes; we review every application and send your onboarding link by email.
